Updated 2014 Hyundai HB20 family of cars launched in Brazil

For those who aren’t exactly clued in, the Hyundai HB20 is a Brazil-exclusive series of models from Hyundai that is produced in Piracicaba, São Paulo and comprises of a hatchback, crossover and a sedan. 

The Hyundai HB20 Series recently got a set of updates for the 2014 model year and here are all the details on the updated series of cars.

Firstly, while the HB20 hatchback and HB20S sedan get a new automatic transmission variant, which is being called as the Comfort Plus, the HB20X crossover gets a new BlueNav media center for all its variants. This media center is only available on the Premium version of the HB20 and HB20S.

Other standard features and equipment on offer include-

  • Trunk lightning
  • Break-wave inside the fuel tank
  • Chrome garnishing on the shift lever
  • Retractable storage bins with lid.

For the 2014 model year, the Comfort Plus 1.0 variant gets body colored outside rear-view mirrors and door handles and a buzzer alarm activation system. The interiors of the Comfort Style 1.0 also gets some chrome garnishing on the door handles.

All the cars equipped with the 1.6 litre engine get matte black finish on door frames, while the HB20 Premium flagship variant will now come with chrome door handles and moldings.

The HB20S sedan interiors get a two-tone finish along with split rear seat for the Premium variant. The HB20X gets perforated leather steering wheel with gray stitching on the premium variant and blue stitching on style variant.
