The new F36 BMW 4 Series gran Coupe will debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show in March next year, and will be launched in June 2014. After the 4 series coupe and convertible, this will be the third model to join the BMW 4 series family.

As evident in these leaked patent drawings, the four-door 4 Series Gran Coupe will have a longer rear window and a quarter window that flows into a conventional boot. This design feature visually increases the side dimensions of the car. The stretched and dynamic design offer the Gran Coupe a more premium look while providing more interior room for passengers.

Speaking about the dimensions, the F36 Gran Coupe is just four centimeters longer than the 4 Series Coupe and has a height of 1.4 meters. The wheelbase has been increased to provide better entry to the rear seats.

The 4 Series Gran Coupe will be available in four variants- 420i, 420d, 428i and 435i. The United States will receive only the 428i and 435i variants of the Gran Coupe.
