The upcoming all new 2014 Honda Jazz aka Honda Fit has been in news of late. It may be noted that the Fit has always been an important car in the Japanese auto maker’s product portfolio and the advent of newer competition have ensured that the car has suddenly started looking a tad dated. The car has already been through a facelift and Honda is now betting big on the next gen Jazz to establish its reign over the mid size hatchback segment of many car markets across the globe.
What we have here today are few more images of the next gen Jazz that have surfaced on the cyber space.
While we have seen at least half a dozen speculative renderings and alleged leaked images of the exteriors of the next gen Jazz, what we have here today are leaked images of the 2014 Fit’s interiors. Very much like the exteriors of the upcoming Jazz, the interiors of the car are every bit modern and seem to have evolved pretty well.
As can be seen in the images, the interiors get both a new design and a new layout. Also, the interiors can now be better related to those of the new Civic and the new Accord.
The 2014 Honda Jazz will have 8cm longer wheelbase, translating into bigger cargo space and 6.5cm more real legroom.
The car is sure to get the 1.2-liter i-VTEC petrol engine and Amaze’s 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine when it comes to India. The European market, on the other hand, will get the much hyped 1.6-liter i-DTEC motor for the diesel variant.
The 2014 Honda Jazz will make its public debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show that will be held in November this year.
