Yamaha Motor Corporation’s American arm, Star Motorcycles have unveiled the 2015 Yamaha Bolt. The Yamaha Bolt was conceived as an affordable option to prospective Harley Davidson buyers and has received rave reviews for being an easy to ride around cruiser for riders of all ages.
Epitomizing an “Urban Performance Bobber” look than a conventional cruiser motorcycle, the Yamaha Bolt has no chrome flourish and leaves the choice of customisation to its owner. The upgrades to the 2015 Yamaha Bolt and the Bolt R-Spec include black mirrors and a revised digital speedometer which Yamaha claims to be more visible during daylight. Also two more colours i.e. Candy Red and Glacier Blue are being offered on the Bolt with the Bolt R-Spec available in Matter Silver and Raven Black. Owners would be offered an optional graphics package such as pinstripes and racing stripes.
Both these 2015 models continue to be powered by an air-cooled 942cc 60° V-twin engine. Prices for the 2015 Yamaha Bolt and Bolt R-Spec read $7990 and $8390 respectively and the motorcycles should hit showrooms by the month of July 2014.
