The Muscular cruiser from the Italian manufacturer gets a minor update- and its all aesthetic. The 2014 Ducati Diavel gets a choice of four trims to choose from i.e. Diavel, Strada, Carbon and Dark.
The standard Ducati Diavel is now available in two different liveries in metallic red and blue with white stripes. The trellis frame gets similar body colours with tank side air ducts finished in natural aluminium. The radiator panels are constructed out of carbon fibre and the rider seat gets a vintage horizontal ribbed treatment.
The Ducati Diavel Strada boasts of the maximum enhancements with a race-titanium matte finish and a racing black frame. Inclined more towards a touring tag, the Strada gets a touring screen, higher handlebars, heated grips, touring seat, passenger back rest, 2 auxiliary power outlets, side luggage, a more powerful alternator, revised passenger footpegs and rear lights.
The Ducati Diavel Carbon as the name suggests gets a carbon weave finish with a contrasting glossy red livery. The trellis is finished in red with the forged Marchesini alloy wheels treated to a black finish- milled on the spoke edges and rims to expose the natural aluminium.
And finally the Ducati Dark getting loads of matte black finishing across the body, frame, wheels and fork sliders. The tankside air-ducts gets a black-anodised finish with the silencers, foot control pedals, bars, mirrors and the headlamp body taking the “Dark” theme further.
All 2014 Ducati Diavels continue to be powered by Testastretta 11° v-twin producing 162 bhp of power and 127.5nm of torque. A ride by wire throttle setup aids better performance low down the rev band with an oil bath clutch with “slipper” function.
So which one are you picking amongst the four?
