The joint collaboration of TVS and BMW is reportedly working on a middle-weight adventure tourer which is rumoured to be based on the BMW G 650 GS. This rumoured motorcycle is speculated to be powered by a twin cylinder 500-600cc engine and is expected to carry a price tag of Rs 5-6 lakhs. Contrary to the earlier reports, which pointed that this upcoming adventure tourer would be manufactured in India, new reports suggest that this new middle-weight motorcycle will be developed and manufactured in Germany and will most probably be assembled at TVS’s production facility in India.

This product is likely to find a good number of buyers in the Indian market as the currently there are very few options available to select from. So apart from the Tiger 800 series, there aren’t many other products in the middle-weight motorcycle market in India that tick the right boxes for being qualified as adventure tourers.
