Rapper and actor Ludacris got his Acura Legend restored by Acura as a gesture to Celebrate loyalty of the brand’s owners. The ’93 Legend is a mid-size car manufactured by Honda / Acura. Ludacris bought the car before he became famous. After he made enough money out of a job at a radio station in Atlanta he chose to buy his personal dream car, the Legend. Many of his initial chartbusters were created inside the sedan.
The 1993 Legend is also featured on his ninth studio album, Ludaversal. After a wreck and about 280,000 miles on the odo, Acura offered to perform a full restoration on the car. Acura not only restored but also modernized the rapper’s car with a few customizations. Acura Design Studio employees restored the car inside-out over a period of two-months. Now the sedan stands in a custom shade of Warm Cashmere with Ice Pearl. Lowered suspension with H&R springs and Eibach camber kits complement the brand new custom 18-inch Rays alloys with Bridgestone Potenza rubber. The brakes are upgraded with six-piston calipers up front and four-pots at back. In short Acura ‘pimped the ride’ of Ludacris!
Further, Acura put a massive Pioneer audio system with twin Alpine subwoofers and Apple CarPlay integration in the trunk for the Rapper.
“Seeing the car that has been such a big part of my life brought back to beyond its original condition was a real gift. The Legend is back and better than ever and I have my friends at Acura to thank for that.” said Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges after seeing his completely restored dream car.
The car was displayed at the SEMA Show next to a 2016 ILX sedan tuned by Galpin Auto Sports which will be donated to the Ludacris Foundation.
