TVS Motor Company had launched the Apache RR310 in India in December last year, with prices starting at INR 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, about four months post the launch, TVS has silently hiked the prices of its first fully faired motorcycle by INR 8,000.
Motoroids spoke to one of the TVS dealerships authorised to sell the Apache RR310 who told us that the prices will be applicable with immediate effect. Now, prices for the TVS Apache RR310 will start at INR 2.13 lakh against the earlier price tag of INR 2.05 lakh. The only exception to this price hike would be the state of Kerala, where the road tax for motorcycles above INR 2 lakh is 20%. Hence the RR 310 has been priced in the said region at INR 1.99 lakh, helping it fall into the tax bracket of 10% for bikes below INR 2 lakh.
