Honda Activa 125, Grazia And Aviator Recalled Due To Faulty Bolt Issue

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI), also known as Honda 2 Wheelers India, has issued a recall for all the 125cc scooters manufactured by the brand due an issue with a faulty bolt. It is said that 56,194 units of the scooters including the Active 125, Grazia and the Aviator manufactured between February 7, 2018 and February 16, 2018 have been recalled.

According to the company, a suspected quality issue of excessive hardness in the bolt flange (10X42) of the front suspension of these models has been found and hence, a recall has been initiated. Customers who own these models manufactured during the aforementioned dates will be informed via their dealerships of the same.

Honda 2 Wheelers India will also be notifying the customers affected due to the recall via various methods such as calls, SMS and e-mails. If you think your Grazia, Activa 125 or Aviator has been affected due to the recall, you can check it through a dedicated section on the company’s official website with the help of your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). The affected part will be replaced free of cost.
