Toyota group companies in India namely, Toyota Kirloskar Motor & Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts along with Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan have decided to contribute Rs. 1 crore for the flood victims of Uttarakhand.
Contributions by the management & employees of both Toyota Kirloskar Motor & Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts were handed over in the form of a cheque to Mr. Praful Patel, Hon’ble Minister for Heavy Industry, by Mr. Vikram Kirloskar, Vice Chairman, Toyota Kirloskar Motor & Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts, at a gathering in New Delhi.
Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Mr. Vikram Kirloskar said, “The floods in Uttarakhand have claimed many lives and property and our heart goes out to all those who have lost their near and dear ones. We at Toyota are contributing in our own little way to do our bit to extend help to those affected in this catastrophe and we hope that this fund helps the displaced victims of the floods”.
