The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is a potent machine for the masses. With its outlandish styling, a strong brand following and an engine that has a heady concoction of Austrian and Indian flood flowing through its veins, the Pulsar RS200 sent youngsters racing to the dealerships, cheque book in hand, since the day it was launched. Till date, it is the fastest Pulsar ever made, but that accolade will soon be snatched from it in the coming months by the Pulsar CS400. The after-market industry isn’t sitting tight lipped either, and here’s one example that adds an extra helping of blueberry cream to the RS200’s platter.

Mumbai based Mark performance racing exhaust have swapped the RS200’s stock, conventional exhaust system with a custom-built dual under seat exhaust system. The slip-on job has been completely fabricated in house, and is claimed to be done up in stainless steel, while the blue tinged, full-sized end cans are crafted in aluminium.  The twin pipes travel under the rider’s seat and culminate into two end cans below the pillion seat, giving this Pulsar RS200 a distinctive rear-end signature, especially when viewed in conjunction with the trademark, branch-like tail lamps. However, the positioning of the end cans near the grab handles is sure to leave the pillion with roasted knuckles.

As for the reborn exhaust note, hear it out in the short clip below. Performance/power gains should be negligible, as it isn’t a full exhaust system. In stock guise, the Pulsar RS200’s 199.5 cc. liquid cooled and fuel injected engine is rated at 24.2 bhp, while peak torque stands at 18.6 Nm. Top speed nudges 150 kph with a bit of road, while the RS200 is aggressively priced at INR 1.2 lakh (ex-showroom). This under seat exhaust system costs INR 10,000 and comes with an one year warranty to boot.
