The Audi Q3 receives a light nip and tuck for 2017

While the second generation Q3 is still some time away, Audi has given the current generation model a mid-cycle makeover. The Q3 enters MY2017 with a bunch of subtle visual updates, along with the addition of a special edition variant as well. The face-lift introduces larger outer air inlets, a Stone Gray-finished grille, and a body coloured blade beneath the center inlet. There’s a new colour as well, called Camouflage Green, which replaces the Tundra Brown.

Additionally, the S Line exterior package gets diamond-pattern inserts for the inlets, a high-gloss finish for the radiator grille and inlets, along with a new front skirt complimented by the matt silver finished under-body protection.

Also new for the 2017  is the Audi Q3 S Line Competition Special Edition, which builds on the S Line package and features black accents on the wheel arches, side mirror casings, roof rails, and door trim strips, along with a glossy black finished lower section of the rear bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler. New 19-inch glossy-black wheels and the S Line badges on the front fenders round off the aesthetic highlights to the Competition Special Edition.

While the Audi Q3 S Line Competition costs €33,050 (INR 24.75 lakh), the regular model starts from €30,100 (INR 22.55 lakh). Prices are available in Germany and other European markets, where the facelifted Q3 will go on sale this fall. An India launch is also expected by the end of this year.
