Earlier we reported the launch of the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, we have also reviewed the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Facelift ZDi+. And now there is news about an all new premium Ertiga offering. Dubbed as the Dreza, Suzuki is all geared up for its Indonesian launch. The Ertiga Dreza will be rolled out in two variants, the Ertiga Dreza and the Ertiga Dreza GS. Both the versions seem to be premium editions of the existing Ertiga line-up.
In the images the new Ertiga Dreza GS stands in Pearl Twilight Violet shade with an all new front fascia. The Dreza sports a new bumper, new front grille, and a whole bunch of garnish to complete the front look. While all of that is new, the Ertiga has not received a pleasant looking facelift treatment.
Moving on to the side, the Suzuki Ertiga Dreza is longer than its previous Ertiga version, it now stands with an overall length of 4325mm while the earlier model stays at 4265mm. The Dreza has received new garnished side sills and new designed alloys.
On the rear, the Ertiga Dreza gets a new spoiler with a high mounted stop light and a chrome line below the glass. A chrome strip with the Ertiga branding sits right under the Suzuki insignia, while the new Dreza emblem is slapped on the bottom right of the tailgate. The rear bumper is new and gets a new chrome garnish. On the brochure it is specified that the garnishes on the Dreza are in silver while the Dreza GS gets them in chrome.
The interiors of the MPV too have received a host of new features such as new tweeters, wooden treatment on the dashboard and door panels and a 9inch Audio Video Navigation system. But what’s not new about the infotainment system is that it supports Android Jellybean 4.1, which is kind of odd, since all the current android devices are on the way to be upgraded to Android Marshmallow 6.0. New dual tone seats are covered, as mentioned, in a high grade fabric.
Both the Suzuki Ertiga Dreza variants will be available in Cool Black, Graphite Grey, Pearl Snow white colour options. In addition to this the Dreza GS will also be available in Pearl Twilight Violet.
It can be seen that the Ertiga premium editions have received a substantial cosmetic treatment, but it is still not known what powers the Dreza. We assume that the Dreza will carry the same engine configurations spouting out same power figures as its previous version. The Indonesian Ertiga Dreza is reported to have been exported by Maruti Suzuki India through the CKD route. We can expect the Ertiga Dreza to get showcased at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo.
