TEASER: 2014 Mini teased ahead of November 18 debut

The all new 2014 Mini hatchback has been teased ahead of its scheduled unveiling on November 18.

Seen here are pics of some parts of the 2014 Mini’s interiors. These pics show various driver assistance system that will be available inside the 2014 Mini. These will include a new heads-up display.

However, unlike the HUD system found on some of the Bimmers, the new Mini’s unit will project the data on a transparent glass positioned behind the steering wheel, instead of projecting it on the windshield.

The next gen Mini will also come with collision warning and pedestrian warning systems, which will also include a new city braking function. The Mini will also get a parking-assist feature with reversing camera.

This is not all as the car will also come with a video-based speed and distance control system which will help the driver keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front. The speed control system finds the speed limites of a certain section of the road and displays it. This system also boasts of a traffic sign memory functions.

Another feature that would be offered with the new Mini would be the digital headlight assist function. This function helps improve the visibility. Very much like the LED headlights of the bigger Audi A8 flagship sedan, headlights of upcoming Mini will detect oncoming vehicles and dim the headlights automatically!
