Tata Tiago EV Deliveries Commence In 133 Cities

Tata Motors recently launched its new electric car, the Tiago.ev in India at an introductory price of Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-showroom. This and the Tiago’s reputation of being a versatile and frugal hatchback made the car’s EV version even more popular.

The Tiago EV currently being the most affordable electric car in the country has resulted in it receiving over 20,000 bookings till now. Out of which, 10 thousand bookings were received on the first day itself. The five-seater hatchback is one of the three electric vehicles sold by the brand in the segment.

 And now, the automaker has officially commenced its deliveries as well. Here are all the details about it.

Deliveries Commenced

The company revealed that it had delivered the first 2,000 units of the electric hatchback to customers across 133 cities in India on the first day.

The company will be delivering the cars equipped with the larger battery packs first, with deliveries of the smaller battery variants commencing toward the end of this month.

The home-grown carmaker’s entry-level EV comes with an option of two battery packs, a smaller 19.2kWh and a larger 24kWh with a claimed range of 250km and 315km, respectively. The car is offered in four variants, namely XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Tech Lux.

The car comes with a touchscreen infotainment system with 45 connected features, segment-first telematics tech, projector headlights, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, automatic climate control, leatherette seats, a steering wheel with mounted controls, and more.

Buyers have a choice of five colors namely Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Pristine White, and Midnight Plum.
