Tata Nexon EV And EV Max Prices Hiked

The Tata Nexon EV has successfully established the title of the most popular EV by receiving a great response from the Indian market. The popularity of Nexon has opened a new door for Tata motors and has put them forward in the race of EV. The Nexon EV gained popularity thanks to its affordability but now, Tata Motors has hiked the prices of the Nexon EV and EV Max.

The recent price hike in Tata also affected the prices of Tata Nexon EV. The reported average Price hike is 2.19%. The Nexon XM EV now comes at Rs 14.99 lakh, which is Rs 45,000 higher than the previous price of  Rs 14.54 lakh. The price of Nexon XZ+ EV has gotten up by Rs 35,000, making the price Rs 16.30 lakh from Rs 15.95 lakh. Nexon EV XZ Plus Lux price was Rs 16,95,000 which now has increased by Rs 35,000 making it Rs 17,30,000. The Nexon Electric Dark XZ+ variant had a price tag of Rs 16.49 lakh and with a hike of 1.23% now it comes at Rs 16.49 lakh. While the price of Dark XZ+ Lux has gone from Rs 17.15 Lakh to  Rs 17.5 Lakh with a hike of 2.04%.

Now coming to the newly launched Nexon EV Max variant. The Nexon EV Max now costs Rs 60,000 more than before. The variants of Nexon EV Max have faced an increase ranging from 3.12% to 3.38%. The Max XZ+ 3.3 kW unit now comes at Rs 18.34 lakh, While the previous price was Rs 17.74 lakh. The XZ+ 7.2 kW variant has gone up from Rs 18.24 lakh to Rs 18.84 lakh. XZ+ Lux 3.3 kW and the XZ+ Lux 7.2 kW variant now have a price tag of Rs 19.34 lakh and Rs 19.84 lakhs respectively.

This long-range variant of Nexon EV has plenty of new features and mechanical changes. The power of this EV comes from a 40.5kWh battery pack which is around 10kWh more than the standard Nexon EV. The powerful motor of Tata Nexon EV max produces 143 hp and 250 nm of torque. The sports and eco-driving mode switches have been repositioned next to the gear selector. It has an ARAI claimed range of 437km and can reach 0-100km/h in 9 seconds and reaches an electronically limited top speed of 140km/h.
