Tata Motors have introduced the long talked about 4×2 variant of the Aria in New Delhi. The company has introduced a new trim level for the 4×2 variant to bring the starting price of the range down to a more lucrative level. The new trim level, christened Aria 4×2 Pure, will sit below the Pleasure and Prestige trim levels. The top of the line Pride trim level, however will not be available for the 4×2 variant of the car.
Here’s the price of the Tata Aria 4×2 range
Aria 4×2 Pure – Rs 11.61 Lakh
Aria 4×2 Pleasure – 12.61 Lakh
Aria 4×2 prestige – 14.26 Lakh
Compared to the Aria 4×2, the prices of the Aria 4×4 are about Rs 70K more for similar trim levels. Here’ the price of the Aria 4×4 Prestige and Pleasure variants
Aria 4×4 Pleasure – Rs 13.34 Lakh
Aria 4×4 Prestige – Rs 14.94 Lakh
However, the introduction of the basic Pure variant has pulled the entry point to buy the Aria almost by a massive 1.7 lakh rupees. This should bring in a lot more Aria customers to the Tata showrooms. The Tata Aria range along with the 4×2 range is being made available, in 85 cities through 150 Showrooms in phase 1.
Launching the Tata Aria 4×2, Mr. P M Telang, Managing Director – India Operations, Tata Motors said, “As the first Indian 4×4 crossover, the Tata Aria has broken a new path for Tata Motors. With the introduction of the Aria 4×2, we make the range comprehensive. The pleasure of the Aria, combining the finesse of a sedan with the muscle of an SUV, can now be availed by a larger customer segment.”
