With this, Tata becomes the first Indian manufacturer to sell its car’s merchandise through Ebay.in. Launching the online store, Ms. Delna Avari, Head- Nano Product Group, Tata Motors, said,“The DNA of Tata Nano is ‘never-thought-of-before’ and that will continue to reflect in our marketing initiatives as well. The Tata Nano brand is very active online. It was one of the first cars in India to be booked online, and today, the Tata Nano Facebook page has a fan base of over 1.6 million. With this launch, the Tata Nano takes its online marketing initiatives to the next level. The Tata Nano is a personal mobility option, appealing to everyone, irrespective of age, gender, economic strata, and geography. Ebay has a good reach in metros, tier I and II cities and this collaboration will help us reach out to Nano fans, spread across the country.”
The new online store offers Nano branded Titan watches and dry-fit T-shirts for both the sexes. Other stuff available on sale includes Nano shaped pen drives, mouse, scale models, caps, key-chains and much more. Tata Motors will conduct online polls to check the desirability of the merchandise collection on sale and hence, make the required changes. A Tata Nano fan can vote for her favorite merchandise online and also stands a chance to win it too.
