Rumours suggest that Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki, is developing a new, semi-faired motorcycle in the 600cc segment of motorcycles. Motorcycle magazine, Young Machine, has released the renders of this upcoming semi-faired motorcycle. Going by the renders, this upcoming 600cc motorcycle is likely to resembles Suzuki’s offering in the yesteryear, the Katana, which was sold between 1980’s to early 2000’s.

The motorcycle appears to imply a liquid cooled engine which leads us to believe that Suzuki will load this semi-faired machine with the same engine that is found on the GSX-R600. The GSX-R600 is powered by a 599 cc, four-pot, liquid cooled, DOHC engine that puts out nearly 129PS of power and 70Nm of torque.

The motorcycle in the rendering reveals some details like the up-side down front suspension, dual-disc Brembo brakes, LED headlight and fairing integrated turn indicators. Going by the looks of the front end, we believe that this upcoming motorcycle will be placed in the tourer segment of two-wheelers and will compete against the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the upcoming Honda CBR650F.
