It has been a couple of years since the B Class has been in the market and this means that a mid life facelift is just a little more than a year away from its launch. While any sort of official announcement regarding the Mercedes B Class facelift hasn’t yet been made, it seems that the Stuttgart based premium car maker has already commenced working on the B Class facelift. What else explains the sighting of this B Class facelift test mule that was spotted by the eagle eyed folks at WCF?
It is very likely that the B Class facelift would sport only minor visual changes that would include revised headlamps, an updated grille, new wheels and a revised front bumper. The car would also get new exhaust tips. The interiors are expected to get an upholstery change and an updated features list.
Other than the visual makeover, the car could sport a re-worked suspension and the engine options too could get slight updates. Transmission options will consist of a 6 speed manual gearbox and a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
It is being expected that the B Class facelift would make its public debut sometime early next year and the Mercedes B Class facelift India launch could happen sometime in mid-2014. In India, the B Class is among the easiest ways to own a three pointed star. The B-Class has been clocking decent numbers on the car sales chart in India and the B Class facelift, in all probability, would lead to even better sales.
