Back in June, Mahindra group owned Korean UV maker Ssangyong showcased the new Korando C EV-R at the 2013 ENVEX show, which was held in Seoul, Korea. The new Korando C EV-R is basically the electric variant of the popular mid-size crossover and was developed with inputs from Korea’s Ministry of Environment. The new Ssangyong Korando C EV-R is still far from reaching mass production.

What you see here are images of the new electric variant of the Korando. As can be seen in the images, the Korando C EV-R looks similar to the fossil fuel powered variants, with the only change being the addition of stickers that boast of this car’s electric motor credentials.

Talking about the electric motor, the new Korando C EV-R is powered by a 37kW 16kWh battery and a petrol generator which bestow the car with a decent 500km range.
