Tata displayed two variants of the Nano at the Auto Expo 2014. The models were named Nano Twist F-Tronic and Nano Twist Active. Tata’s strategy includes addition of diesel and automatic transmission variant of the Nano and this what we just might see in the upcoming variant.
The facelift version seen in the photographs is the upcoming Nano AMT, the automatic transmission version of the car. In terms of looks, the new Nano gets a lot of updates. The front get new headlamps with chrome treatment. The front bumper has a ‘smiley’ mesh with foglamps at each end. The smiley mesh can also be seen on the rear bumper.

The new edition will also get an openable boot space which was not yet an option. This will provide better utility in terms of its functionality. The inside of the car should be similar to what was showcased in the Auto Expo 2014 through the Active Twist.
Finally, this variant will be ideal to use in the city given its compact size. But moreover, the automatic transmission would be of great help in bumper to bumper city traffic.
Nano, which was introduced to the cheapest car, has now started to receive new updates. The task at hand for Tata Motors is to keep prices in check.
