Spy pics of Jaguar XE emerge from Nürburgring

Ever since Tata bought Jaguar, the number of vehicles from the British manufacturer have risen substantially. The latest offering that will hit the showroom next year is the all new Jaguar XE. The Geneva Motorshow saw the first glimpse of the the Jaguar XE, a mid size premium sports sedan that will go on sale in 2015. The spy pictures of the Jaguar XF and Jaguar XJ have recently emerged on the internet. Now, is the turn of Jaguar XE

Automobile website Worldcarfans.com uploaded a spy video of the new Jaguar XE being tested in and around Nürburgring. This latest offering rides on the lightweight iQ[Al] platform and will feature an assortment of Ingenium four-cylinder engines. This engine will be available in a wide range of capacities and outputs. These engines will deliver inspirational performance and offering the latest innovations in fuel-efficient technologies without compromising drivability.

The new XE will also be offered with a supercharged 3.0-liter V6. However, there is also a possibility of a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with capability of producing up to 542 bhp (404 kW).

While the camouflage blocks the details, the XE may follow the new design that can be seen on the XF and XJ with a prominent grille, LED-infused headlights and a sculpted hood.

The new car with four-cylinders might just be a perfect product for the developing market, especially India as it will be more fuel efficient that the V6 variant. The Jaguar website confirms that this new car will be available for sale from 2015.
