What else explains the sighting of the updated SUV in Nashik? These Mahindra Scorpio facelift images were sent to us by our friend and reader Abhijeet Ranpise, who states that the test mule was wearing little camouflage on the hood, which seemed to be considerably updated.
The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio facelift’s headlight will sport LED Daytime Running Lamps and the updated model will also sport a revised front fascia that would consist of a new bumper, grille and fog lamps. Also, the car will also get a highly revised hood and front fenders.

On the inside, the Mahindra Scorpio facelift interiors will boast of a revised dashboard, new upholstery and a steering wheel that comes from the Mahindra XUV500.
As we have been saying, there are very less chances that the 2014 Mahindra Scorpio facelift would sport any mechanical updates, which means that the car would continue to be powered by the same 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk turbo diesel engine that powers the current model. This motor has a max power of 120 bhp and peak torque of 290 Nm. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Also available is a choice of 6-speed automatic gearbox.
