We recently came across the upcoming Ford Figo facelift but it isn’t the only hatchback that’s preparing for a mid-life upgrade. Motoring portal TeamBHP has found a test mule of the new Hyundai Elite i20 Facelift near Chennai and while there are no official launch details available, we expect to see the new, facelift at the 2018 Auto Expo.
As seen in the new spy images, the upcoming Elite i20 facelift will get a new hexagonal grille and new alloy wheel design with a black finish. The revised fascia is expected to feature updated front and rear bumper along with new headlights and tail lights. The facelift model may also feature upgraded interiors with a new infotainment system.
Mechanical specifications are not expected to change from the current model’s 1.2-litre and 1.4-litre petrol and 1.4-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engines. All petrol models would retain the 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission while the diesel model will continue using 6-speed manual gearbox.
As aforementioned, there are no official details about the upcoming Hyundai Elite i20 Facelift although we expect to hear more on that front at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi.
