Motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has expanded its global reach as the company inaugurated its first exclusive store in Dubai. The company also showcased its new range of motorcycle apparel and accessories inspired by dispatch riders of the World Wars. Located at Al Qouz Industrial Area 4, Dubai, the 1,924 sq.ft full service store is designed as per Royal Enfield’s brand new retail format that showcases the brand’s philosophy of “Pure Motorcycling” in every aspect of the Royal Enfield ownership experience.
The store features merchandising format and product displays, which include the use of bits and bobs from Royal Enfield motorcycles and photo frames that speak of the Royal Enfield heritage. A full blown wall display of a stripped down Continental GT, showcasing the bike’s internals and frame, depicts machine love where the rider derives joy through tactile interplay with his motorcycle
From the first exclusive store in Dubai, Royal Enfield will be retailing:
- Continental GT 535cc café racer
- Rumbler (Thunderbird for Indian market) – Built to the needs of the long distance rider. Available in 500cc and 350cc
- Retro street model Classic – With its post war and classic styling, the motorcycle has a timeless appeal. Available in 500cc and 350cc variants
- Bullet – The oldest motorcycle in continuous production. Available in 500cc and 350cc variants
RK Globals established in 2004, are the importers, distributors & retailers of automobiles and automobile components with over a decade of experience in creating markets for leading motorcycle manufacturers. They are also distributors for several global automobile brands in the three and four-wheeler segments and buses.
We do not intend to hurt anyone’s sentiment. There must have been a dealership in Dubai where the dealer may have imported the motorcycles. But this is the first official, company owned and operated showroom in Dubai and that is what we have reported.
By no means this is the first time RE is foraying in Dubai. 4-5 years ago, a passionate RE rider named Nelson started a dealership in Dubai. He covered sales across Middle East and North Africa. Sadly, he passed away whilst riding in the Himalayas last year. It is really sad that RE did not even remember him and you guys are now even insulting his soul by saying ‘this is the first exclusive RE store in Dubai’.
