Ampere Vehicles, a wholly-owned electric mobility subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Ltd has launched the Reo Elite electric scooter at INR 45,099/- (ex-Bengaluru showroom). Customers can book their Reo Elite starting today for just Rs 1,999/- on Ampere’s website and through dealerships in Bengaluru. All booking customers will receive helmets for free as part of the safety promotion drive by Ampere.
The Reo Elite scooter is lightweight, sleek in shape and has been crafted with the urban millennials in mind. It comes fitted with a techno-dashboard which offers a bright digital display for instrumentation. The Ampere Reo Elite is powered by a 48V-20Ah Lead-Acid battery which offers a maximum range of 55 kilometres in the city and 65 kilometres on the highway, on a single charge. It is powered by a 250 watts motor, gets telescopic forks at the front and a coil spring at the back to handle suspension duties, 110 mm drum brakes and tips the scales at 86 kilos. The electric scooter can lug around a maximum of 130 kilos. The Reo Elite also offers a USB charging point.
