Renault has been testing the India-spec Kaptur across the country, test-mules of which have been spotted on numerous occasions. This time, Motoroids reader Subash Narayanan has caught the upcoming Kaptur during a public road test in Chennai.
The test-mule in question seems to be the top-end variant as the models sports alloy wheels and, according to the photographer, featured a seven inch touchscreen infotainment system. To be manufactured at the company’s plant in Oragadam, Chennai, the India-spec Kaptur will be a Right Hand Drive (RHD) configuration. Currently, the Kaptur is sold only in the LHD configuration in markets such as Russia and Brazil.
