Red Bajaj Dominar 400 Photographed; India Launch May Happen Soon

Update: Here are some more clearer images of the upcoming Dominar 400 from one of Bajaj’s showrooms (Courtesy TeamBHP).

Latest spy images suggest that Bajaj Auto may launch a new colour option for its flagship product, the Dominar 400. The motorcycle was photographed in Red colour with gold coloured alloy wheels, something that was also seen on the matte black Dominar 400 in the previously spied images. The Bajaj Dominar 400 recently concluded one year in the Indian market and the Company may launch new colour options to celebrate the occasion.

Apart from the newly added colour option, the  muscular and aggresive styling of the Dominar 400 will continue to feature full LED headlamp with Auto Headlamp On (AHO), twin channel ABS and a full digital instrument cluster. The reverse LCD split speedometer divides the display into primary and secondary consoles for a reduced clutter in the cockpit.

Mechanically, the Dominar 400 is propelled by a 373.2cc triple spark DTS-i, liquid cooled, fuel injected, single cylinder engine with slipper clutch which delivers 35 PS of power at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is tuned to deliver low and mid-range torque and Bajaj claims that about 28 Nm of torque arrives at 3000 rpm, building upto 35 NM at 6500 rpm.

The motorcycle, as seen in the spy image, appears to be delivery ready and it should be available for sale in the coming weeks. The new colour option should be available at the same price tag as the the rest of the variants.
