The matte black Bajaj Dominar 400 was recently seen with gold coloured wheels at what appears to be a warehouse. We’re yet to hear any official announcement about the new colour options for the Dominar 400 and we’d keep you posted with more updates as and when they’re available. Now if you’re getting a sense of Déjà vu, this particular colour scheme does remind of the Yamaha FZ-S Midnight Special. This is the second colour option that we’ve come across recently, the other being the red Bajaj Dominar 400.
The Dominar 400 recently completed one year in the Indian market and there’s a good possibility that Bajaj is planning to introduce new colour options to celebrate the occasion. We’d, however, wait for an official announcement from the two-wheeler brand.
Mechanical specifications would remain unchanged and the Bajaj Dominar 400 would continue to draw 35 PS of power at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm from its 373.2cc triple spark DTS-i, liquid cooled, fuel injected, single cylinder engine. The engine is tuned to deliver low and mid-range torque and Bajaj claims that about 28 Nm of torque arrives at 3000 rpm, building upto 35 NM at 6500 rpm.
Other features include full LED headlamp with Auto Headlamp On (AHO), twin channel ABS and a full digital instrument cluster, and slipper clutch.
