Only few hours earlier, we reported about a custom made Renault Duster Joy Edition being sold by a dealer in Kerala. Now, another Renault India dealership has come up with a similar special edition of the Duster, which is being called as the Renault Duster Joy Yellow Edition.
Renault Duster Joy Edition at Renault Thrissur
Akin to the car we posted about in the morning, the new Renault Duster Joy Yellow Edition is inspired from the Dusrer Detour concept and thanks to its yellow plus black paint job, looks all the more like the concept model it takes its inspiration from. While the new Joy Yellow Edition looks much like the Duster Joy Edition, it doesn’t have a ‘Duster’ logo painted at its sides. Instead, it has the words ‘Duster Joy’ painted on the doors. Also, it gets roof mounted Hella auxillary lamps and a front bumper that comes from the Adventure edition. Also, very much like the Duster Joy Edition, it gets a faux hood scoop, new design alloy wheels and black painted roof rails. The special paint job costs INR 1.5 lakhs, along with warranting some more dough for the additional accessories.
Mechincally, the new Renautl Duster Joy Yellow Edition remains unchanged, which means that the car will continue to be available with a 1.5 litre four cylinder turbo charged k9k diesel in two states of tune and a 1.6-liter four cylinder, normally aspirated petrol engine.
