If our friends at Indianautosblog are to be believed, Nissan has officially announced that they will be coming out with the sedan variant of the bubbly Micra. The company has officially made the statement at a media drive function organized in Chennai. The car will be launched in 2011. As one would assume, the sedan version will share most of its components from the hatch bin and will help the company keep the costs in check.
Nothing has been said about the engine on the new car but we are guessing that the diesel 1.5 doing duty on the Logan may extend a helping hand.
