Datsun India recently launched the redi-GO in India with a price tag of Rs. 2,49,220 (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai). As we wait to see the hatchback make it to the roads, parent company Nissan seems to be getting ready for a few new launches in the coming years. The company plans to add three new products to its Indian portfolio in the next three years.

Guillaume Sicard, President, Nissan India said that the company will be focusing on SUVs and crossovers in the coming years. While the new X-Trail is scheduled to be launched this year, it is believed that the Kicks compact SUV is likely to arrive at Indian shores in 2018. Reports suggest that the model will come with a price tag in the range of Rs. 8-15 lakh. Once launched, the model will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Renault Duster.
