Nissan India to launch 5 new products by end of 2013

Nissan India has revealed its product plan for India for 2013. Aldo, the Japanese company will be launching at least 10 new products by the year 2016 to consolidate its position in the Indian market. Here’s the list of some of the products which will help the Japanese car maker fight it out with the biggies in the mainstream car market in the current year.
1. Micra petrol will go automatic with a CVT transmission. The X-tronic CVT will feature more or less the same tech as recently unveiled on the Scala sedan.
2. Second in line will be the Sunny Automatic with X-Tronic CVT. Essentially the same car under the skin as the Scala automatic.
3. The third car will be Nissan badged Duster compact SUV. Expect more than just mild cosmetic changes, with a debut expected late 2013
4. Datsun will make a comeback as a low cost car brand for India, and later for the world. Fits launch will be a sub Micra hatch with a sub 4 lakh price tag
5. Next would be another datsun car, even smaller in size, and meant to compete in the entry level A segment where the likes of the Alto and Eon reside.
