Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold 13,329 units in January 2013 as compared to 17,395 units in the corresponding month in 2012, sales declined by 23%. The company sales in Jan 2013 have seen a 10.42% increase from Dec 2012 sales of 12,071 units.
The company exported 1,791 units of Etios series to South Africa in Jan 2013. The total sales registered were 15,120 units including exports.
Commenting on the sales in Jan 2013, Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer, Marketing and Commercial said “The market is still witnessing a slowdown, especially the passenger car segment.
