Nissan has unveiled the Extrem crossover concept at the 2012 Sau Paulo Motor Show that is underway at Brazil. The Extrem crossover is based on the Nissan Micra hatchback and like the Volkswagen Taigun that was unveiled yesterday, is less than 4 meters in length.
Powering the Extrem is a turbocharged petrol motor that is said to be high on both performance and fuel efficiency. The Extrem’s exterior styling borrows design cues from the 370Z, the Juke and some other modern Nissan cars.
While Nissan has said that the concept won’t spawn out a production version anytime soon, it is almost for sure that Nissan will make use of many components from the Extrem for the development of a sub 4 meters compact crossover.
