It has emerged that TVS is busy with the development of the next generation all new TVS Scooty. The good chaps at ACI recently spotted a new gen TVS Scooty test mule and from what can be made out from these spy pics, the upcoming model is close to entering the highly competitive Indian Two Wheelers industry.
The new TVS Scooty will look completely different from the current model. It seems like the upcoming model have more practical rear view mirrors, which would not sport a body colored cover like the ones on the mirrors of Scooty Pep.
Also, it seems like the upcoming Scooty will have indicators that will be similar in shape to the ones on the current model. Also, even the next gen Scooty won’t have a front mudguard.
Akin to the current model, the next gen Scooty will have telescopic forks upfront and a single hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. The scooter will come with beefier tires and all-black steel wheels. The scooter will also get a smaller grab rail and the seat could be a tad wider and comfier than the one on the current model.
It is being said that the next gen Scooty will be powered by a more refined engine that will have slightly higher performance than the current Scooty’s motor. This engine will offer both kick and electric start options.
It is pretty much for sure that the next gen all new Scooty will come with more features than the current model and in all probability, the all new TVS Scooty will be loved even more than the present gen version.
Don’t be too surprised to see the new TVS Scooty greet us at Auto Expo 2014.
