The second generation Porsche Panamera Turbo, and an even more luxurious version of the sports sedan, the Panamera Turbo Executive, have arrived in India. The sport sedan has been launched in India at INR 1.93 crore (ex-showroom) while the Panamera Turbo Executive version comes for INR 2.05 crore (ex-showroom).The second generation model receives updated engines, transmission and the interior, along with drive systems.
As you would’ve read in our previous reports, the second generation Panamera Turbo has been re-designed and re-developed to the last detail. The new iteration, in our opinion, looks much better than the model it replaces. Visually, The new Panamera Turbo sits 20mm lower than the model it replaces, with more athletic flanks and pronounced shoulders, along with a sporty roofline.

Mechanically, the Porsche Panamera Turbo gets a 4.0-litre biturbo V8 engine with 550 hp (30hp more) of power and 770 Nm (70 Nm more) of torque. Naught to 100 kph is claimed to arrive in 3.8 seconds. With the Sport Chrono Package, the 0-100 kph sprint time is reduced to 3.6 seconds. The Panamera Turbo can reach a top speed of 306 km/h. All the variants of the Panamera get Normal, Sport, Sport Plus or Individual modes as standard. All engines come mated to a newly developed eight-speed PDK transmission.
