New Fiat Punto Evo (Facelift) Reaches Dealerships; Launch Soon

Fiat India has tested the Punto Evo for months and now the car has reached dealership yards, which suggest the launch is not far away. On this page, we have the images of the Fiat Punto Evo clicked at a dealership yard in Mysore by a Team-BHP member schakravarthy.

As already seen in the earlier uncamouflaged images, the Fiat Punto Evo gets a front-end design which draws cues from the Avventura concept showcased the Auto Expo 2014. The car receives dollops of chrome on its exterior. The front grille of the car receives chrome treatment while the front bumper houses fog lights with chrome outlining. At the rear, the caar gets a chrome strip below the number plate and also stoplights with chrome outlining. The tail lamps are now LED and look classy.

On the interior front, the car receives a completely new dashboard, a new steering wheel and updated instrument clusters. The new Punto Evo will also get features like Bluetooth Connectivity, USB and AUX ports for the infotainment system, automatic headlamps and wipers.

Mechanically, the Punto Evo will be the same as the current model which may live on as Punto Classic. The petrol variant will be getting the 1.2 liter and 1.4 liter motors under the hood which produce 68bhp and 90bhp respectively. The diesel engine will be Fiat’s own 1.3 liter mill which will come in two states of tune – 75bhp and 90bhp. The power will be channeled to front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
