Bajaj Avenger Street

New Bajaj Avenger series launch scheduled on October 27

Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise (1)

Bajaj has sent out an official invite for an event scheduled on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015. While the two-wheeler manufacturer is yet to reveal the name of the products that would be launched at the event, it’s no secret that it will be the new Bajaj Avenger series motorcycles that have been sighted several times courtesy curious eyes and affordable camera phones.

While there is no official confirmation about the variants, earlier reports suggest that the new Bajaj Avenger series will comprise of three motorcycles – the Avenger 220 Street, Avenger 220 Cruise and the Avenger 150. The Avenger 220 Street and the Avenger 220 Cruise would continue to draw power from the 220cc engine that propels the outgoing model where as the Avenger 150 is likely to receive the same motor that is seen on the Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i.

The Avenger 220 Cruise will be near identical to the current generation Avenger but the motorcycle will shed away the mono-tone paint job for new set of graphics, a chrome badge on the fuel tank and the 220 Cruise tag on the side panels. The Street 220, on the other hand, will sheds away the chrome bits and get an all black paint job. The matte-black paint job will be accompanied by new graphic scheme on the tank and on the side panels. We are yet to see the 150cc variant.

As said before, the event is scheduled on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015 at 11:30 AM and we would be covering the event LIVE to bring you all the updates so don’t forget to tune into Motoroids. 1. I own a Bajaj Avenger 220. Its been 5 years with almost 50k on odometer. I personally feel that bajaj should concentrate on quality and durability along with styling. My rear suspensions are almost flat. They don't respond at all even to small path holes. Aftermarket components quality is a big question with bajaj. 100 baton ki ek baat… I will think 1000 times before buying another Bajaj vehicle.

  2. !!
doesnt bajaj have any performance modifications ?? if they get in touch with me, i will guide them – how to modify AVENGER …

  3. In this case, nothing exciting as the same mill would be retained with cosmetic upgrades which in my opinion is not so different. Avenger 150? Would someone like a cruiser with a 150 CC. We had the enticer but times have changed!!!
