Honda CBR250R made a comeback at the 2018 Auto Expo but not in the form that we’d expected. However, while the motorcycle retained the styling, it got a few tweaks. For 2018, the motorcycle features new graphics, two new colour options and a full LED headlight.

Honda has remained tight-lipped about the prices of the new CBR250R although we’d probably hear more details in the coming weeks. We expect the motorcycle to retail between INR 2.0 – 2.2 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the ABS variant.

While Honda hasn’t announced any timeline for the launch of the new 2018 CBR250R in India, we expect the motorcycle to arrive by mid-2018.
NEW 2018 HONDA CBR250R FEATURES AND DETAILS
Drawing inspiration from the CBR lineage, the CBR 250R now comes with all-LED headlamp with position lamp, 2-channel ABS, new graphics and two new sporty colours — Mars Orange and Striking Green — in addition to the Pearl Sports Yellow, Sports Red and Vibrant Orange (Repsol). Other features include conventional telescopic suspension at the front and Pro-Link Monoshock at the rear, and split seat.
NEW 2018 HONDA CBR250R ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
Mechanically, the motorcycle continues to use the 249.6cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SI engine that’s tuned to deliver 26.5 PS of power @ 8500 rpm and 22.9 Nm of torque @ 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Stopping power is provided by a 296mm disc upfront and a 220mm disc at the rear.
