Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India unveiled its all-new product, the X-Blade at the 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi. The new Honda X-Blade will join the CB Hornet 160R in the premium commuter segment to compete against the likes of Yamaha FZ-S, Suzuki Gixxer 155, Bajaj Pulsar NS160 and the TVS Apache RTR160. Bookings for the motorcycle have begun and Honda has announced that the motorcycle will be priced below INR 79,000 (ex-showroom). As announced by Honda, the new X-Blade will be priced below INR 79,000. The final ex-showroom price of the motorcycle will be announced at the launch.

As aforementioned, Honda has commenced the bookings for X-Blade. The launch, as reported earlier, will happen in the month of March 2018.
New 2018 Honda X-Blade Features and Details
Visually, the Honda X-Blade features muscular styling with some sharp cuts and elements all around. The motorcycle comes equipped with LED headlamp, gear position indicator, hazard switch, and service due indicator. Other features include link type gear shifter, spilt grab rails, hugger fender and modern graphics. Suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. The tyres are relatively skinnier than the Honda CB Hornet 160R. The XBlade uses 80/100 section, and 130/70 tubeless tyre at front and rear respectively.

New 2018 Honda X-Blade Engine and Performance
The Honda X-Blade is powered by an air-cooled single cylinder 162.71cc engine which cranks out 13.93 bhp of power @ 8,500 rpm and 13.9 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. All that is transferred to the rear wheel via a 5-speed gearbox and the bike features a self-starter. The bike gets a front disc brake which measures 276mm and a rear 130mm drum brake.
