MV Agusta F3 800 to come in early 2014

MV Agusta F3 800

Coming our way in early 2014 is a big bore, 800cc version of MV Agusta F3 675. MV Agusta has already announced that the development work for the upcoming model is going on in full swing and the upcoming bike is currently undergoing final testing.

Powering the upcoming MV Agusta will be an inline-three cylinder engine that will be heavily inspired by the motor that powers the Brutale and Rivale. It is being said that the new MV Agusta F3 800 will borrow its chassis from the current F3 and this will help the bike maker to reduce the development time and cost for the new model.

The bike will have a max power output of 140bhp and will be locking horns with the Ducati 848 and Suzuki GSX-R750. The interesting bit here is that Ducati might launch a new Panigale-inspired middleweight sportsbike to replace the 848, much before the F3 800 is launched. It would be then really interesting to see if the new F3 would be a potent rival to the new Ducati.

The new F3 800, in all probability, will come with bike maker’s MVICS electronics package and is also expected to come with ride-by-wire, ABS and multiple power modes.

The upcoming MV Agusta F3 800 is expected to come with a sticker price that will be in the vicinity of £11,000.
