MS Dhoni Gets A Brand New Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV

Indian cricket team skipper, MS Dhoni is a car and bike lover, and owns quite a few exotic vehicles in our country. Seen regularly driving his Hummer and various other exotic motorcycles, Dhoni has added yet another beast to his garage. While Dhoni is serving the parachute regiment in Jammu and Kashmir, his wife Sakshi took delivery of, what is Indian’s first, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV. Powered by a monstrous 6.2-litre Hemi V8 engine, also seen in the Dodge Challenger and Challenger Hellcat, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is indeed one of the most powerful SUVs in India, generating well over 700 horses!

His wife posted a picture, while taking delivery of this exclusive vehicle. The caption reads, Welcome home #redbeast #trackhawk 6.2 Hemi 🔥 ! Your toy is finally here @mahi7781 really missing you ! Awaiting its citizenship as its the first n only car in India !” In the picture, one can spot the ‘Hemi 6.2’ on the fender while a Grand Cherokee and Supercharged badge can be seen at the lower end of the passenger side door. The wide tyres look neat and the massive front brake calliper is painted yellow for a sporty look.

As mentioned above, the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is powered by a 6 2-litre, supercharged Hemi V8 engine. This rather huge motor is tuned to pump out 707 hp of peak power and 875 Nm of twist. All this power is sent two all four wheels and an electronic slip differential makes sure power goes to the corner with the most grip. This engine comes mated with a tried and tested 8-speed automatic gearbox. With all this kit, the car manages to achieve a top speed of 3.5 seconds and can do the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds. Moreover, if unrestricted, this full-size SUV can go up to 290 kmph! This beast of an SUV is currently not on sale in our country and seems to have been imported privately by the ex-Indian captain.
