The EV that first introduced the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model in India before other brands adopted it has crossed a significant milestone. MG’s Windsor EV has now crossed 75,000 unit sales in the Indian market, reaching the landmark in less than two years since its launch in September 2024.
The electric crossover has continued to attract buyers across different parts of the country. Along with the standard Windsor, the newer Windsor Pro has also added to the numbers. During the first six months of calendar year 2026, the two versions together recorded more than 19,000 unit sales, helping the model stay among India’s highest-selling electric cars.
