This complex system will be controlled by the massive, 10.4-inch touch enable infotainment screen in the centre of the dash and could be used to control a variety of functions present in the car. This screen, just like our smartphones will be placed vertically and offer a smooth operating experience. After its launch, this SUV will compete against the likes of the newly launched Tata Harrier and the well established Jeep Compass in the Indian market.

The Hector will also come with a voice assistant, helping you to navigate through the various settings of the car, which are all controlled by the large central screen. What is interesting, that this voice command system works and talks like an actual assistant, giving you that friendly feeling, creating a stronger bond between you and your car. Developed by Nuance for MG India, this assistant has been specifically designed for India for Indian accent learning. Using built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, the system will learn and get better every day with usage.
