Mercedes-Benz has launched the SLC 43 AMG in India at INR 77.50 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The roadster, which replaces the SLK 55 AMG, was launched in the country within four months of its international debut. The SLC 43 AMG was launched by Roland Folger, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

Upfront, the SLC 43 AMG receives a new bumper, new diamond radiator grille and LED powered headlamps. The side profile of the sportscar remains the same expect for the new 18 inch alloy wheels that replace the older lot of 16 inch wheels. At the rear, the roadster receives a new bumper, LED tail lights, blacked out diffuser and dual chrome tipped AMG exhausts.
Moving on to the interiors, the SLC 43 AMG comes equipped with features such as Nappa leather, a multi-function steering wheel and an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a Garmin Navigation system. The Mercedes-Benz SLC 43 AMG is propelled by a 3.0-litre bi-turbo V6 engine that is capable of producing a maximum power output of 367bhp while the peak torque is rated at 520Nm. Transmission duties are performed by a 9 speed G-Tronic automatic transmission. This powertrain enables the model to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 4.7 seconds all the way to an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
Safety features on the two door sportscar include 6 airbags, adaptive brake lights, flashing, Adaptive Brakes with ABS, Hill Start Assist & Hold function, Brake Assist (BAS), Crash-responsive head restraints, Acceleration skid control (ASR) and a 3-stage Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Under the My Mercedes-My Service programme, the compact service packages for the AMG SLC 43 starts at INR 84,000 for an unlimited mileage.
