Mercedes -Benz records its highest ever sales in Jan-Jun 2010

Mercedes-Benz India has announced its sales numbers for June 2010. The company has sold 388 units in June 2010, registering a growth of 94% over June 2009. The C200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY sold more than 320 units since launch.
Mercedes’ sales increased by 79% in the first half of 2010, with a sale of 2402 units as compared to 1342 units in the previous year. The E-class (1056 units) and the C-Class (926 units) were the models spearheading sales.
Dr. Wilfried Aulbur, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India elaborated: “Our customers appreciate the Passion, Excitement and Fascination that are associated with Mercedes-Benz as a brand and our cars. Exciting products, world-class ownership experience and engaging customer programs have been our key levers; we have more excitement for our customers and enthusiasts in the second half of 2010.”

Note: All numbers indicated in the statistics are “Wholesale” numbers only. (Wholesale refers to the actual number of cars invoiced by the manufacturer to the dealer).
