A few days ago we had informed you about Kawasaki releasing some teaser sketches and videos of its ground-up 2011 ZX-10R. Now the company has released the first official pictures of the race spec version bike. These pictures have been released prior to the Kawasaki R&D department setting out for a rigorous test session for two days at the fabled Suzuka race track in Japan. The 2-day test will be used to further refine the bike for the 2011 WSB Championship.
In its latest avatar, the new bike will boast more than 190bhp and will be 10kg lighter than its current avatar at 198kg.
Kawsaki are promising never-before performance and handling with their latest litre class track tool and are looking seriously at taking the fight to the BMWS1000RRs and the Aprilia RSV4s of the world. Stay tuned for more info…
