Mercedes-Benz India has extended its AMG product line-up with the launch of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 434MATIC Coupe. The performance coupe has been priced at INR 74.80 lakh (ex-showroom India). The Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe is the eighth product launched by the brand in India in 2017.
Visually, up-front, the Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe receives a diamond radiator grille, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, larger air intakes and a front splitter finished in chrome over the standard GLC variants. Similarly, the model comes equipped with 19 inch alloy wheels while customers can also opt for the 21 inch units as option. At the rear, the model features a sloping roofline, lip spoiler and a quad exhaust setup. Other features include black exterior mirror housing, electric sunroof with Pre-Safe closing function and rain sensor, and Intelligent Lighting System.
Inside, the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 Coupe comes equipped with features such as black leather upholstery with red stitching, reed seat belts, flat bottom 3-spoke steering wheel in black nappa leather, a 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system, brushes stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs and a race timer. It features two large round dials with speedometer on the left and tachometer on the right in a chequered flag design. Two bar graphs at the bottom of the dials display fuel level and coolant temperature.
The vehicle also features AMG Line seats upholstery layout with upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather / DINAMICA microfibre and designo red seat belts.
Propelling the vehicle is a 3.0-litre twin turbocharged V6 petrol engine capable of producing 367 hp of power at 5500-6000 rpm and 520 Nm of torque at 2500-4500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5 AMG Dynamic Select transmission. Naught to 100 kmph can be attained in 4.9 seconds while the top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph. Also on offer as a standard feature is an independent sports suspension with adjustable dampers and ride height. Customers can also choose from five different drive modes.
